Ehsan's Growth Analysis
Figma won by making design multiplayer when every competitor was still single-player. That sounds obvious in hindsight, but in 2016 the design community was skeptical that browser-based tools could match native app performance. Figma spent 4 years in stealth perfecting WebGL rendering — a bet that most VCs thought was insane. The result: when a designer shares a Figma link, every stakeholder (PM, engineer, executive) becomes a Figma user. Adobe's Sketch had one user per license. Figma had 5-7 users per paying seat. That is why their $600M+ ARR grew almost entirely through organic expansion within organizations, not top-down sales.
